LADY COUGARS BEAT ELLIS 8-2

Carlynton Girls Varsity Soccer Seniors celebrated an evening dedicated to them, and along with their fellow teammates, enjoyed a convincing win against the Ellis Tigers. A few mistakes early gave way to an on slot of shots by the Cougar offense and after settling down a bit, more and more shots found the back of the net. Sofia Carassco lit up the score board with a hat trick plus one, finishing with four goals. Giona Darencamp added two more goals with perfectly placed shots. Kylee Merscher once again, with great precision, headed in an impressive goal and again, in back to back games, Bryce Bogats was called upon to use her skill at the PK marker and bring home another goal. Senior night at Honus Wagner Stadium did not disappoint as every player on the roster enjoyed their opportunity to make a difference on the pitch. Congratulations Seniors, Hannah Bogats, Sofia Carassco, Kylee Merscher, Natalie Quinn, Abbie Snizik and Morgan Vonada.
