The Edmond Memorial Bulldogs had a long ride home on Friday after they suffered their sixth loss in a row by a score of 52-7 when they faced off against the Jenks Trojans.

The lone touchdown for Memorial came when quarterback Blake Burgess connected with Brendon Mitchell in the fourth quarter. The extra point was converted by Parker Reneau, but the Bulldogs weren’t able to add any more tallies to the board.

The loss bumps Memorial to a disappointing 1-6, after the team opened their season with a 28-7 drumming of Ponca City all the way back in Week 0. Since then, though, the Bulldogs have only known defeat. They’ll look to improve next week when they host the Yukon Millers. The Millers are 3-3 on the year.
