PREVIEW: DOWNINGTOWN EAST VS. DOWNINGTOWN WEST

Downingtown East (6-0) and Downingtown West (3-3) are set to face off this Friday at 7:00 PM. With three consecutive blowout wins, Downingtown East is looking for someone to give it a good challenge; hopefully Downingtown West will step up.

Downingtown East can now show off four landslide victories after its game last week. It dominated last week, steamrollering East 49 - 7. At 42 points, that marked Downingtown East's largest margin of victory so far this year. Meanwhile, Downingtown West has to be hurting after a devastating 38 - 17 defeat at the hands of Avon Grove last game.

The last time they met, Downingtown East was the 42 - 20 victor. It was able to move the ball a lot more (494 yards compared to 103 yards), a gap Downingtown West will be looking to close this time around. Will Downingtown East come out on top again? We'll soon find out.
