POYEN TAKES ON MAGNET COVE

It has been a tough early stretch of the season for the Poyen Indians. Poyen has been in every game with the exception of the Conway Christian game. The Indians have lost three games by a total of 16 points and should go into the game against Magnet Cove with some confidence. The Indians will take the trip to Malvern to take on the traditional rivals Magnet Cove Panthers.
The Panthers of Magnet Cove picked up their first win on the season last week. Magnet Cove defeated England in a thriller, 31-30. The win over England helps give the Panthers plenty of momentum going into the game on Friday against Poyen. The Indians will need to keep an eye out for Panthers running back, James Butler who has rushed for 400 yards on the season and put up a touchdown last week in the victory over England.
For the Indians, if they can get off to a quick start and force some three and outs, they will have a great chance of winning this game. Poyeen has the firepower on offense to pick a win, but it boils down to just getting stops on the defensive side of the ball. The game in Malvern on Friday should be a great one.
