LAKESIDE PICKS UP A WIN OVER DREW CENTRAL, PREPARES FOR SMACKOVER

Lakeside has had an impressive season at this early point in the year. The Beavers are 2-2 on the season and are looking to build on the momentum built from defeating Drew Central. This week Lakeside prepares for a tough match up against Smackover.
The Beavers last week witnessed Aaron Kilgore have a terrific game. Kilgore passed for 120 yards and 1 touchdown, but he did most of his damage on the ground, rushing 22 times for 245 yards and 4 touchdowns. Lakeside was able to blow the game open in the second quarter, racking up 16 points and putting Drew Central behind 24-8. If Lakeside can do the same this week against Smackover, then they will have a very good shot of beating the Buckaroos.
Smackover will enter this game against Lakeside with an identical mark of 2-2. The Buckaroos are fresh off an impressive victory over Fouke. Both Lakeside and Smackover like to strike quickly and build the leads, which makes it tough for opponents to come back. The Beavers will be hosting Smackover this week and have a chance to really get a run going as conference play begins to heat up. Fans of both teams should look for a great game Friday night, with both teams having dynamic offenses.
