The Roosevelt boys cross country team was back on the course on Tuesday competing at the Valley Invitational at Valley's Southwoods School. The Riders finished 6th in the varsity race and were led by junior Harry Prentice's 8th place finish. The JV Riders finished 5th in the 12 team meet.

Coach Zane Butler Comments:

"Our boys competed well. Harry showed a lot of toughness in the last mile of this race, he dug deep and picked guys off one by one. Kevn Stenstrom ran a very good race and continues to improve. HIs hard work in the off season is starting to pay off".

Next action for the Roosevelt harriers will be on Saturday, Sept. 16 when they host the annual Heartland Classic at the ISU Course in Ames.
