The Roosevelt volleyball team hosted the Grandview Christian Thunder on Tuesday night and swept the visitors in three straight to move their record to 16-15 on the season. The Riders won the match with scores of 25-12, 30-28, and 25-14. Riley Dolphin led the Riders at the net with 18 kills followed by Grace Cumming with 14. Marie Goodwin had a solid night with 14 digs, 12/12 from the service line with 2 aces. Maren Palmer had 42 assists for the home team on a hot night in the Pomerantz Gym.

Coach Mark Steinbach Comments:
"One of our goals this season was to win all of the home matches. We are currently 3 wins & 0 losses with only Ft Dodge remaining in two weeks. GrandView Christian forced us to compete and they have a really good team. GrandView showed great ball control and we had to be the aggressor in order to win this match. It feels good to get the sweep and we are excited for the home stretch. The Riders are 9 - 3 in the last twelve matches. As we continue to get healthier, our level of play will continue to rise".

The next action for the team will be on Tuesday, Sept. 26 when they travel to take on East.
