Notes: Muskogee was 3-0 heading into district play last year, but has lost to a pair of top five teams, Midwest CIty in 6AII Oklahoma and Bentonville West in Arkansas 7A. Muskogee is looking for its first home win in three tries in 2017. The Roughers dropped 14 passes last week and were penalized for 114 yards. QB Jacob Medrano leads the area with 58-of-103 passing and six TDs, for 1,088 yards. Diante Crutchfield is the top receiver statistically in the area with 11 catches for 403 yards, an average of just under 36 yards per catch, and five TDs. DE Mike Edwards’ six sacks also leads the area. .. Bartlesville saw a three-game win streak in the series end in last season’s blowout. Coming off a bye, the Bruins have lost two straight (Owasso, Cascia Hall) since a 30-25 win over McAlester to start the season and are now led by Kyle Ppool, who took over after John McKee stepped down after week two due to personal reasons. They have good size up front and the top offensive weapon has been WR John Cone with 385 yards on 25 catches.
