The Sand Springs Athletic Department and Inkwell Print Design are now teammates.

Inkwell recently inked an exclusive partnership with Sand Springs Athletics, making the athletic apparel store a one-stop shop for Sandite athletes and fans.

Buddy Padilla and his wife, Kerri, bought Inkwell Printing in February, and they hit the ground running. The tshirt company has grown and is busting at the seams, literally and figuratively.

“I’ve coached for about 16 years, and I’ve never found a consistent and reliable company for uniforms and fan wear,” Buddy said.

When the Padillas bought the store, Buddy had several ideas and teaming up with Sand Springs Public Schools was one of them. Sand Springs Athletic Director Rod Sitton had the same idea.

“I think Rod is an innovator. He has a vision of what he wants and we want to help carry out that vision. I want the schools to be able to focus on what they do and let us focus on what we do. Our goal is to help Sand Springs grow and build their brand,” Buddy said.

Along with onsite sales at all home football games, Inkwell will also manage the Sandite Store at Ed Dubie Field House during designated school hours and at home basketball games and wrestling matches.

Buddy said a portion of all sales will go back to the school to support the Sand Springs Athletic Department.

“I’m extremely excited to announce a partnership between Sandite Athletics and Inkwell,” said Athletic Director Rod Sitton. “Buddy Padilla and the good folks at Inkwell will be your go to place to buy your Sandite Gear.”

Sitton, who has been the athletic director for the past two years, has been trying to get all of the Charles Page High School sports teams to have the same color of yellow and black on the uniform, making all sports match.

He is also making sure all of the uniforms and coaching gear uses the same “SS” logo.

Inkwell is also working hard to provide an online store so people can buy Sandite gear on their computer and have it delivered to them.

Inkwell is located at 1 W. 41st St. in Prattville.
