Notes: Bentonville West was 3-8 in its first season, 0-2 heading into this matchup with a 33-12 loss at Pryor and a 37-14 loss to Little Rock Central. This year, they beat Pryor 49-13 and Central 49-14. Several move-ins have reshaped the squad, but the two key offensive weapons this year were on the squad but did not play a year ago. Wide receiver Jadon Jackson missed the game due to what Watkins said was disciplinary reasons. Jackson has offers from Arkansas, Missouri, Memphis, Tulsa and Arizona State with growing interest from Alabama, Penn State and Notre Dame. He’s got nine catches for 313 yards and five touchdowns in two games. Quarterback Will Jarrett was 9-of-18 for 235 yards and three TDs against Central. He was hurt against Central last year and did not play against the Roughers. Muskogee enters the game not having given up a touchdown since midway through the third quarter of the opener and continuing that through the 54-0 win against McAlester, holding the Buffs to 92 yards and keeping them from crossing midfield all but one drive. Quarterback Jacob Medrano threw for just short of 500 yards. Diante Crutchfield had four catches, three for touchdowns, all totaling 285 yards.
