Frankfort High’s football team suffered its first loss of the season, losing 52-32 to Williamsburg Friday.

“We had a lot of turnovers,” FHS coach Craig Foley said. “They exposed a few areas where we struggle, but I’m proud of the way the kids came down here and battled. They didn’t stop playing until the end.

“Tremayne (Jones) stepped up and ran the ball like we expect him to. We played pretty well all in all.”

Holt Hammons threw three touchdown passes for the Panthers, two to DaJuan Davis. John Tillman also caught a touchdown pass and he ran for another score.

Jones also had a rushing touchdown.

Williamsburg (3-1) came into the game ranked No. 10 in Class A in the Associated Press poll, and FHS was ranked eighth.

Frankfort (3-1) plays its next game this coming Friday at Western Hills.
