The Three Rivers Lady Bulldogs varsity volleyball team traveled to Skidmore for a match on Tuesday, Aug. 22.

It was a closely fought contest, but the Lady Bulldogs came up short 26-24, 25-22, 25-20.

Madison Springs and Gabbi Escamilla served two aces apiece. Ashley Geffert and Dani Ramirez each served one ace. Maddie Johnson led with 10 kills. Geffert finished with three, while Kayla Shipman, Gabbi Hiraldo, Escamilla and Ramirez each scored two. Springs and McKenzie Stewart had one kill apiece. Hiraldo finished with two solo blocks, while Johnson had one.

Springs was the top setter in the match, with 17 assists. Escamilla contributed four and Johnson had one. Ramirez led with 15 digs. Springs came away with nine digs, Geffert had seven, Escamilla had five, Shipman tallied four and Johnson rounded out the stat sheet with three.
