Chisholm will be trying to end a four-match losing streak when the Lady Longhorns travel to Oklahoma Bible Academy for a 6 p.m. volleyball match.

The Lady Longhorns, 3-5, are coming off of a 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-15) loss to 6A Ponca City on Tuesday. CHS lost its last three matches at the Bartlesville Tournament to bigger schools — 5A Metro Christian 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-22), 4A Rejoice Christian 3-2 (22-25, 25-23, 14-25, 25-20, 15-80 and 4A Catoosa 3-1 (25-21, 23-25, 25-16, 25-23).

First-year Chisholm coach Dru Kratovil said her team is excited to face its intracity rival.

“I saw them yesterday, and they were all pumped already, so I can’t imagine what tomorrow wil bring,’’ she said.

Kratovil has been pleased with her team’s play so far. The Lady Longhorns were fourth at the Bartlesville Tournament with wins over 3A Dewey 3-0 (25-8, 25-12, 25-10) and 5A Tulsa Rogers (25-9, 25-18, 25-12).

“I think we have a lot of potential,’’ Kratovil said. “The more practice we get and the more games we play, the better we’ll get. All of the games have been great games so far. It just came down to missing a few points at the end.’’
