The Mayde Creek Girls Varsity Track Team competed at the CFISD Relays at Cy Fair High School on Friday, March 24. The girls placed 8th out of 20 teams.
Senior Samara Hodges won the High Jump competition with a jump of 5’4”. The 4X100 meter relay team finished in 4th place with a time of 48.85. Relay
members included: Danielle Ingram, Samara Hodges, and Javlyn Cameron.
Javlyn Cameron took home the bronze medal in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 14.40. Cameron placed 5th in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 45.89.
The Varsity Girls will be back in action on Friday, April 1 at the Bluebonnet Relays at Brenham High School.
