HORNET ATHLETICS MIDWEEK SPORTS REPORT

Good Morning Hornets. This is your midweek sports report. Congratulations to the Fastpitch team for closing out an undefeated regular-season beating Bonnie Lake on Monday 22-5. Congratulations to the girls and boys track team who beat Sumner last Thursday on senior night. With this win the girls clinched a league championship. Congratulations to the girls tennis team who also closed out senior night with a 4-1 win over Auburn. Congratulations to the water polo team who beat Auburn Riverside last night 15-8 to clinch a League Championship. The Hornet Water Polo team completes their regular season tonight as they take on Puyallup for senior night at 7:30 at the Enumclaw Pool. And now we would like to announce to huge celebrations. The first goes to our Hornet Girl’s Track team who recently was recognized by the State of Washington as the  2015 Academic State Champions. The girls won this award with a cumulative team GPA of 3.84. If you're sitting next to a girl trackster be sure to give them a high-five and a big congratulations for winning the state academic championship.  And finally a big congratulations to all of us as the Bond election results closed yesterday and the Enumclaw Voters have approved a new Enumclaw High School. Exciting times ahead for all of us. Thank you to all staff and students that participated in the Bond process. Have a great Hornet day!
