HORNET ATHLETICS MIDWEEK SPORTS REPORT

Good Morning Hornets. This is your midweek sports report. This report celebrates our teams that have advanced to either Districts or State. Congratulations to our Judo team who finished 6th at State. Congratulations to our Equestrian team who finished 2nd at State in the large school classification and First as a District 6 team. Congratulations to our Girls Water Polo team who finished 2nd in Regionals and advanced to State which begins tomorrow as they take on Bellevue at Curtis High School. Congratulations to the boys and girls golf teams who advanced 5 individuals for both teams to the State Tournament held next week at Horn Rapids and Canyon Lakes Golf Courses in Kennewick. Congratulations to our Hornet Lacrosse team who advanced to State and begin play this Friday in Renton. Congratulations to the Hornet Girls and Boys track teams who advanced numerous athletes to Districts this weekend in Sumner. Congratulations to the Girls Tennis team who finished First and Second as doubles teams in the SPSL tournament and advanced to Districts this weekend. Congratulations to the Girls Fastpitch team who advanced as the Number 1 seed in Districts and begin play on Friday at Sprinker Field. We wish each of the playoff teams the best of luck this week and next. To continue our Hornet tradition of sending our athletes to District and State we will hold our Spring Hornet Parade of Athletes this Thursday at the end of the day.
