Phelps earned his first win of the season Monday working the first three innings at Whiteland. The left-hander allowed five hits and two earned runs while striking out three.
Cox followed up with four scoreless innings of work, giving up two hits and striking out three.
Meanwhile, Hasecuster proved impossible to get out. The Shelbyville shortstop finished 4-for-4 with three runs scored and two runs batted in to help the Golden Bears produce a 9-2 victory and improve to 14-2.
The Golden Bears, ranked sixth in this week's Class 4A state coaches poll, were trailing 1-0 after one inning before scoring one run in the second and two in the third to take the lead for good.
Kuhn's one-out double started the third. The senior scored on Hasecuster's triple to make it 2-1. A Chase McColley ground out followed to score Hasecuster.

Three straight singles followed by a pair of sacrifice flies started a four-run fifth. Logan Young, Kuhn and Hasecuster strung together base hits with Young scoring on Hasecuster's third hit of the game.

McColley and Phelps lifted sacrifice flies to score Kuhn and Hasecuster. And Larrison doubled, moved to third on a wild pitch and scored on a passed ball to make it 7-2.

Larrison added a two-run single in the seventh to seal the win.
