TWO EAGLES SIGN NATIONAL LETTERS OF INTENT

Bailey Williams (Emory and Henry, Softball) and Shane Shepard (N.C. State, Baseball) signed their National Letter of Intent in the media center on Wednesday, April 23rd. &nbsp;</p>

Coach, Chip Adams; &ldquo;Bailey Williams signed to play softball with Emory and Henry yesterday. &nbsp;The Ashley Softball family is very proud of Bailey and would like to congratulate her and her family. Bailey is a hard working dedicated young lady that will use her strong work ethic to continue success at the next level. We wish Bailey good luck and God speed in her future endeavors.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p>

Coach, Brian Stewart: &ldquo;Shane has been an impact player for us since he&rsquo;s been on campus. A four-year starter, a tremendous hitter and he plays pretty much anywhere in the infield. While being at Ashley he has helped guide our baseball team to a 67-27 record over 4 years and each team has made a state playoff appearance. &nbsp;He&rsquo;s a born leader and I&rsquo;m just happy to see how he&rsquo;s progressed over the years. It&rsquo;s pretty awesome to see him and his brother (Chance) has a chance to play together at N.C. State. There&rsquo;s a lot a family history there and it&rsquo;s going to be pretty cool to watch him and Chance play on the same field together next year.&rdquo;</p>
