ROOSEVELT TAKES COMMAND OF CIML METRO

After a spring of winning six conference championships outright and tying for the seventh the Roosevelt Roughriders seized control of the CIML Metro All Sports Championship race heading into the final two sports (baseball and softball) that will be competed for in the 2016-17 school year. The Riders expanded a slim lead after the winter sports season and now have amassed 95.5 points and lead second place Lincoln by 18 points. There is a battle for second place between Lincoln (77.5), Ottumwa (76), and East (71).
