Assuming the weather cooperates, Monday is going to be an awfully busy day for the Bartlesville High School athletic department.

Early in the morning, Bartlesville is set to host the Bruin Golf Invitational at Adams Municipal Golf Course.

The Bruin linksters are coming off three-straight tournaments shooting right around 320; they will be looking to build on that success at the facility on which they practice nearly every day.

During the early evening hours, the Bartlesville soccer teams are hoping to turn on the lights at Custer Stadium to play visiting Stillwater.

Both the Bruins and Lady Bruins are coming off road wins at Muskogee and looking to solidify — or improve — their playoff status.

The Bruins still can finish anywhere from No. 2 to No. 4 in the district — which would put them in the playoffs.

The Lady Bruins are on the cusp of getting into the postseason.

Bartlesville’s varsity baseball team — riding the sizzling momentum of a six-game winning streak — is planning on taking on Enid in a 6 p.m. showdown at Custer Stadium.

Later in the week, Bartlesville also is slated to host Tulsa Memorial, Bixby and Moore.

More details about these matchups is planned Monday.

At Dewey, meanwhile, the Bulldogger baseball team is anxious to play host to county rival Caney Valley, in a late-afternoon tilt.

Both teams have been red-hot during the second half of the season.

Dewey beat the Trojans, 3-0, back in early March.
