Trailing by two runs, Greenback pitcher Breeden Gilbert struck out Alcoa’s Zac Taylor to open the fourth inning. It took six more batters to get a second out.

The Tornadoes rattled off five fourth-inning runs on just three hits, thanks in part to two errors and three walks from the Cherokees (13-2), as Alcoa took control of the game and went on to a 12-5 win on Friday night at Greenback High School.
