Alexis Gerwert broke the Bellwood-Antis school record in the pole vault in helping the B-A girls beat Central, 82-68, in high school track and field action on Thursday.

The Everett girls swept the tri-meet, beating B-A, 82-68, and Central, 83-66.

Gerwert cleared 11 feet to eclipse the previous record of 10-6 set by her and Andrea Genesi.

Kaitlyn Maxwell won the 400, 800 and 1600 runs for Everett, and Stefanie Ketterman took the high jump and triple jump.

Brianna Reiter won both hurdles for B-A, and Rachel McCready won the shot put and discus for Central.

The Bellwood boys went 2-0, beating Everett, 124-26, and Central, 128-22. Everett topped Central, 114-32.

Ethan McGee won the 100 dash and 300 hurdles, Tanner Worthing won the 200 and 400 dashes, Robert VanKirk won the 1600 and 3200 runs, and Clay Engle placed first in the high jump and triple jump.
