SILOAM SPRINGS — Eight unanswered runs for the Harrison Goblins were the difference.

On Tuesday, the Goblins pulled away for a 9-3 victory over Siloam Springs as they scored the final eight runs of the night.

Colton Shaver led off the fourth inning with a walk before Quinn Cherry laced a single up the middle.

Tanner Taylor was hit by a pitch to load the bases for Harrison.

Carson Journagan sacrificed Shaver home for the first run of the inning and Keaton Brown singled to load the bases once again for the Goblins.

A sacrifice fly from Damian Ireland scored Cherry to give Harrison a 5-3 lead.

In the fifth inning, Harrison strung together base hits to push four runs across the plate.

Laine Hilliard reached base on a Siloam Springs error and would later score on a wild pitch.

Thailer Lovell, Shaver and Cherry had consecutive singles with Lovell scoring on the Cherry base hit.

A fielder’s choice from Taylor allowed Shaver to score.

Taylor would come around to cross home plate on the second error of the inning by Siloam Springs.

Harrison took a 9-3 lead to the sixth inning.

Goblin starting pitcher Shaver returned to the mound for the sixth inning and kept Siloam Springs off the scoreboard.

In the seventh inning, with one out in the frame, Journagan came on in relief to close the game out.

Siloam Springs scored two runs in the top of the first inning to take an early lead.

Harrison got one run back in the bottom half of the inning as Shaver scored on an error.

A single run from Siloam Springs in the third inning was answered with two runs for Harrison in the home half.

Taylor and Journagan each scored on bases loaded walks drawn by Jaxon Edwards and Hilliard to knot the game at 3-3.

Cherry recorded three hits for the Goblins. Shaver added two and Lovell, Taylor and Brown one apiece.

Shaver scored three runs in the ballgame. Taylor added two and Lovell, Cherry, Journagan and Hilliard one each.

Cherry, Taylor, Journagan, Ireland, Edwards and Hilliard picked up one RBI apiece.

Shaver earned the win on the mound. He threw 6.1 innings while allowing three earned runs on four hits. He struck out six and walked five.

Journagan pitched the final .2 innings and allowed on runs on one hit. He struck out one batter.

The Goblins improve to 6-7 overall with a 3-2 record in blended conference play.

Harrison was back at home on Thursday as the Goblins played host to Russellville.
