The Stoughton High School girls soccer team didn’t let pouring rain get in the way of its offensive attack Monday in a non-conference game at Cambridge/Deerfield.

The Vikings maintained 70 percent of the possession and scored four goals in the second half in muddy conditions for a 6-0 win.

Cara Wood scored twice in the first 15 minutes of the second half, and Brooke Scheel and Melissa Browning followed with unassisted goals. Auggie Brestar assisted on the second Wood goal.

Jordan Nelson and Peighton Trieloff scored in the first half.

Anna Callahan finished with 13 saves.
