SEQUOYAH 10, SALINA 0 (6) — Logan Bush gave up one hit and pitched the shutout while also going 2-for-3 at the plate in a Class 3A game. Caleb Helsley and Tanner Keys also had two hits each as Helsley had four RBIs for Sequoyah (4-6) in the win over No. 6 Salina (7-11). 

WAGONER 6, JAY 2 — An RBI-double from Malcolm Rodriguez was the crucial blow as Wagoner (16-6, 7-3) scored five runs in the top of the fifth to take the lead 5-1 in the District 4A-5 win. Rodriguez went 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Jay dropped to 8-9, 6-2.

COWETA 6, TAHLEQUAH 5 — A top of the 10th inning bases-loaded walk off Coweta’s Spencer Harrington allowed Braden Calico to cross the plate for the winning run. In the loss, Dustin Hicks went 2-for-3 to lead Tahlequah (7-10, 2-6 5A-3). Coweta improved to 9-15 and 3-6. 

EUFAULA 7, KELLYVILLE 6 (8) — Jase Pippenger hit a walk-off single to score Hunter Hiler as Eufaula got the win. Hiler went 3-for-4 with an RBI for the Ironheads (6-12).

PORUM 11, PORTER 1 (4) — Mason Coulston had a hot bat for Porum as he went 3-for-3 and racked up six RBIs. Lane Brown was also 3-for-3. Colby Thornton (3-1) allowed two hits and got the win on the mound. 

SALLISAW 14, CHECOTAH 7 — Dylan Mills and Kris Elerick had two hits each for the Wildcats (16-8, 4-5) in the District 4A-8 loss to Sallisaw (11-7, 8-1). Mills tallied an RBI-double and Elerick an RBI-single. 

 

Softball

CHECOTAH THREE WAY — The Lady Wildcats (10-9) dropped two games on the day. The first was a 8-6 loss to Sallisaw and the second a 7-4 loss to Locust Grove. Demi Jeffreys and Lauren LeMasters both were 3-for-4 in the game against Sallisaw. LeMasters had three RBIs and Jeffreys added a two-run home run. In the loss to Locust Grove, Aubrey Cooper went 3-for-3 with an RBI.

OKTAHA 12, HARTSHORNE 2 — Class 4A No. 5 Oktaha (21-5) scored six runs in the bottom of the first inning behind RBI-singles from Cayton Sloan, Morgan Berry and Chyann Fairchild, an RBI-double from Madison Phillips and a sacrifice fly off the bat of Karli Ashing as the Lady Tigers cruised to the win. 

FORT GIBSON THREE-WAY — Fort Gibson picked up two wins over Muldrow, 12-0 and Roland, 8-5. Ali Christie led the way for the Lady Tigers (17-2) as she finished 6-for-7. Maddi Jo Williams and Abby Scott both went 5-for-7 as Scott had two home runs, one a grand slam. Aubree Bell was 4-for-5 and hit her 18th home run. Hannah Thouvenal was 3-for-3 and Mackenzie Austin went 2-for-3. 

SEQUOYAH WINS TWO — Class 3A No. 1 Sequoyah (22-3) won 13-1 over Wetumka and beat Class 5A No. 6 Kellyville 12-4. Kaylee Smith led the Lady Indians going 5-for-5 on the day with a home run and nine RBIs. 

WEBBERS FALLS 10, BRAGGS 8 — Madison Carter’s bat was unstoppable as she led Webbers Falls (12-2) going 5-for-5 with an RBI and three scores. Cheyenne Shanks added three hits and three RBIs for the Lady Warriors as Haley Cato (12-2) picked up the win. 

STIGLER 10, QUINTON 9 — No stats provided at press time. 

 

Boys soccer

WAGONER 2, TULSA ROGERS 1 — Christian Wilson and Blake Dumond had one goal each in the District 4A-7 win for Wagoner (11-1, 3-0). Tulsa Rogers dropped to 9-3, 2-1.

ENID 3, MUSKOGEE 0 — Muskogee (6-6, 0-4) dropped the District 6A-3 contest to Enid (6-5, 3-1). 

 

Girls soccer

MUSKOGEE 1, ENID 0 — Seven minutes into the sudden death overtime, Callie Mayes, on the assist from Ali Hughart, scored the lone goal for Muskogee (7-5, 1-3 6A-3). Hailey Miller registered six saves as the Lady Roughers’ goalie. Enid dropped to 5-6, 2-2.

PORTER 7, POTEAU 0 — Porter (8-2, 2-1 4A-6) led 5-0 at halftime, as Hallee Boyd scored all four of her goals in the first half. Kennedy Mathis added two goals and Brieanna Henson had one. Poteau dropped to 1-8, 0-3.

WAGONER 10, TULSA ROGERS 0 — Darci Masten and Audrey Southern both had a hat trick to lead Wagoner in the District 4A-7 win over Tulsa Rogers. Liz Gray added two goals while Mandy Green and Hannah Middleton had one each. 

HILLDALE 2, KEYS 1 — Savannah Jorgensen and Gracie Farley had one goal apiece as Hilldale (10-2, 3-1) got a District 4A-6 win over Keys (4-7, 1-2).
