BOY’S LACROSSE FALLS TO DORMAN

The Boy’s Lacrosse Team fell to a 3-2 record with a 18 to 7 loss to the Cavaliers of Dorman High School. Leading in scoring was Senior Captain Walker Wakefield and Sophomore Attackman Sam Harakas with 3 goals a piece. Junior Midfielder TJ Battisti also contributed a goal and went 8 for 14 on faceoffs. Sophomore Midfielder Ellis Smith had 4 assists and 1 groundball. Senior Defenseman Daniel Cox led the team with 5 groundballs and 2 takeaways. Sophomore Defenseman James Mullen had 3 groundballs and 2 takeaways. Junior Goalie Tommy Sisan had 6 saves. The Vikings will travel to face the Rebels of Byrnes next Friday. The JV Boy’s Lacrosse Team fell to the Cavaliers of Dorman High School Friday night by a score of 8-6. Leading in scoring for the Vikings was Freshman Halstead Morris with 3 goals, Sophomore Jaren Smith with 1 goal, Sophomore Jalen Smith with 1 goal, and Freshman Matt Polk with 1 goal and 1 assist. Freshman Alex Rowe had 2 assists. Sophomore Midfielder La’Christian Leverett lead the team with 5 groundballs. Sophomore Goalie Wells Laney had 11 saves. The Vikings will travel to Byrnes next Friday.
